During my full-time internship at United Industries Automotive Plastics Private Ltd, I received ground-level training in a facility manufacturing various plastic-based automobile components. I gained knowledge in production, planning, quality control, continuous improvement, and supply chain management. As a team member, we increased throughput by 6% and overall efficiency by 11% by implementing process modifications and optimizing machine layouts while reducing the workforce. In addition, this experience allowed me to apply theoretical knowledge to practical work and honed my skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, and effective communication.
